MoMa 2013

Taking off the kicks after landing a 2nd place finish at the Mountain Madness 50K (5:15:15) Race report can be found here. Also mad props to Jason (9th 5:45:13) Sean for his gutsy run and eventual DNF, and Jeff for his 40m 10K on the same day.

My plan to "hang with Andy" went out the window 9 seconds after the race started.

My plan to "try to do the whole thing without water" materialized at AS4, right after I told you, in my delirium, that you were in 11st place.

Now, try to buy THAT for a flagon of rice ;)

That explains a LOT now! I do recall you telling me I was 11st place! We went out suicidally fast, and even with water, drinking enough to keep moving comfortably was unusually challenging. Whatever you do, take care of your shoes.
